Rujuta & Kedar

The beautiful Doctor Couple Rujuta and Kedar gave me a chance to document their pre-wedding shoot, at the idyllic and colourful Lavasa. From the first time I met them in 2015 at Kedar’s sister (Ketki’s) engagement in 2015 (I was shooting it), they broke every dull and boring image I had of Doctors and Doctor couples.
This shoot was actually shot just a day after their exams and a week before their nuptials in Mumbai. But they really didn’t show any signs of weariness and was totally excited about the beautiful day ahead in Lavasa. Probably the best way to unwind after hectic medical exams...Rujuta and Kedar met each other at Medical College and it was definitely love at first sight. And I would say, they still very much have the same awestruck looks in their eyes when they see each other.
On a misty early morning, we decided to drive down to Lavasa. A beautifully quiet early morning stroll around Lavasa followed by a lovely walk around the little alleys was just perfect to get to know these young doctors. Chatting about their Wedding day plans and creating a set of fun natural portraits of them both in the most beautiful surroundings was the order of the day.
